The opportunity

This role built new customer-facing applications rather than maintaining legacy software, with ownership of frontend architecture and delivery.

The work covered consumer utility accounts, landlord portfolio management, billing and payments, and real-time visualisation of data from connected meters.

What you'll do

Build React applications for consumers, landlords and hardware integrations
Make long-term frontend architecture decisions
Create clear visualisations for utility consumption and device data
Design responsive interfaces for different user groups
Integrate backend APIs and real-time IoT data streams
Ship quickly and improve products from customer feedback

What we're looking for

Strong professional React and TypeScript experience
Deep knowledge of modern React patterns and state management
Experience with complex, data-heavy production applications
Confidence with real-time data, visualisation and responsive design
A record of making sound architecture decisions and shipping products
Ownership from product design through deployment
A collaborative and pragmatic approach
