The Lead Software Engineer owned delivery across infrastructure, backend and frontend while working closely with the founders on product and technology decisions.
- Scope, design and ship features end to end
- Help onboard new utility networks onto the platform
- Keep hosting and deployments secure, reliable and cost-effective
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform resilience
- Shape product and technical decisions with the founders
- Provide hands-on technical leadership as the team grows
- Experience building and scaling production web applications
- Strong skills across Python, FastAPI, Postgres, TypeScript and cloud infrastructure or similar technologies
- A practical approach that favours simple, maintainable solutions
- Confidence working across infrastructure, backend and frontend
- A collaborative style with customers, product and commercial teams
